Student Employment

Most full-time students at Princeton Seminary work part-time during the semesters, and summer months. Students are encouraged to work part-time as a way to pay for their living expenses during the school year.

There are many on- and off-campus opportunities available for Princeton Seminary students. Some examples of on-campus jobs are: library assistant, admissions peer counselor, chapel sexton, public safety dispatcher, and many more. And Federal Work Study students have opportunities to work off-campus with some of our local partners, such as the Princeton Public Library, and Princeton YMCA and YWCA.

The base pay rate for student employment at PTS is currently $15.13 per hour, and will increase on January 1. Most PTS students can comfortably work 8-12 hours per week while attending classes full-time.

The Office of Student Financial Services also maintains a job board to assist with finding employment on Inside PTS.
